The Post and Rung Diner is designed with the utmost simplicity in mind. Four straight posts support a seat woven in Danish paper cord and a steam-bent and carved backrest. Post and rung chairs are one of the simplest and oldest chair designs there are, there are paintings from the 1400’s depicting the same type of construction as used in this chair! Strong, very light and visually appealing the post and rung is a beautiful and elegant structure.
This chair is ultra light, it’s minimal design is particularly pleasing when space is at a premium as it maintains a sense of space and lightness as you look through it’s light design.
